Macy’s Chairman and CEO Jeff Gennette will retire at the end of the fiscal year, and will be succeeded by Bloomingdale’s Chairman and CEO Tony Spring.Gennette, 61, guided the retailer through the pandemic after taking the top job at Macy’s in March 2017. He became chairman the following year. Spring, 58, will become president and CEO-elect immediately, according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday, and is expected to be appointed as permanent CEO in February. He will take a board seat on Saturday and will have an annual salary of $1 million, plus incentives. Spring has been an executive vice president since 2021. Macy’s board, which currently has 14 members, will increase its size to 16 directors.Macy’s Chief Financial Officer Adrian Mitchell will be taking on the additional role of chief operating officer. DENVER (KDVR) — A new plan from the Colorado Department of Transportation and Energy called for a drastic increase in the number of electric vehicles in Colorado in the not-too-far future.The Colorado Electric Vehicle Plan envisions 2 million electric cars and SUVs on Colorado roads by 2035. That’s just 12 years away.The plan also calls for 1,700 public fast-charging ports to be installed around the state. Almost 6,000 level-2 chargers would also be deployed. The charging grid has been one of the greatest challenges for current EV owners.The plan also envisions that 30% of all truck sales be electric by the year 2030. Miami-Dade Police officers taped off a portion of Northwest 44th Street near Northwest 22nd Avenue to investigate after a man was shot, Wednesday morning.Reports of the incident came in around 6 a.m. and now police officers are investigating a house on the street. A car on the street with its lights on was also being investigated by authorities. Evidence markers were seen next to the vehicle which normally indicates some kind of shooting.Neighbors expressed concern to 7News and said the car belongs to an older man who lives in the house being investigated. They do not know if he is connected to this incident.
